How Fast Track Leasing works
Updated October 2026 · 6 min read
Fast Track Leasing is an introducer, not a leasing company. We take what you need, vehicle, budget, term, location and circumstances, and match you to a supplier from our panel who can actually do it. That supplier owns or funds the vehicle, sets the final price and signs the agreement with you directly. If the introduction leads to a hire, the supplier may pay us a commission. You are never charged a fee, and the commission never changes what you pay. This page answers the questions worth asking before you commit to anyone, including us.
Who actually supplies the vehicle?
Not us. Fast Track Leasing does not own vehicles, does not fund them and is not a lender. The rental or leasing agreement is between you and the supplying partner, and that partner is the one who confirms the vehicle, the final price, the term and the conditions.
We will always tell you which supplier we are introducing you to before anything is agreed. If that is ever unclear, ask us outright and we will name them. An introducer who will not tell you who supplies the vehicle is not one worth using.
How are we paid, and does it cost you more?
Our service is free to you. We do not charge a fee for an introduction. When an introduction leads to a hire, the supplier may pay us a commission, and this never changes what you pay.
It is fair to ask whether a commission pushes us toward one supplier over another. The honest answer is that a match only earns anything if it actually completes, so sending you to a partner who cannot supply what you asked for wastes everyone’s time. If you want to know how we are paid on your particular introduction, ask and we will tell you.
Why use an introducer instead of going direct?
Going direct to a single leasing company means you see that company’s stock, on that company’s criteria. If you fit, that can be an excellent route, and for a large established business wanting a conventional three-to-five-year lease on one specified vehicle at the lowest monthly price, it often is.
An introducer is more use when the requirement is awkward for a single provider: a shorter term than the usual multi-year lease, several vehicles at once, a new company without filed accounts, seasonal or short-notice demand, or a credit history that standard criteria would decline. Instead of applying to provider after provider, you describe the requirement once and we look for the partner best placed to meet it.
It is worth comparing us against a direct quote. If a leasing company can do better on the same specification, take their deal.
What we can and cannot promise
We can promise to be straight with you about your options, to tell you who we are introducing you to, and to say so plainly when we do not think we can help.
We cannot promise a vehicle, a price, a term or an approval. Listings on this site show what we can look to source, not live stock on a forecourt, and prices are indicative guides rather than quotes. Nothing is reserved until a partner confirms it. We do not offer guaranteed approval, and you should be wary of anyone in this market who does.
We are an introducer of vehicle hire and rental. We are not a lender, not a finance provider, and we do not arrange consumer credit.
Questions to ask the supplying partner before you sign
Once we have introduced you, the detail is between you and that partner. These are the questions worth putting to them, and a good partner will answer all of them without hesitation:
- Who owns the vehicle, and who is named on the agreement?
- What is the total cost over the full term, not just the monthly figure?
- Is there an initial payment or deposit, and is it refundable?
- What is the mileage allowance, and what is the excess mileage rate?
- Is maintenance, servicing or breakdown cover included, and what is not?
- Is insurance included, or do I arrange it separately?
- What happens if I need to return the vehicle early, and what does that cost?
- Is a personal or director guarantee required?
- What condition standard applies when the vehicle goes back?
- What happens if the vehicle breaks down or needs replacing mid-term?
Compare the total cost across the whole term rather than the headline monthly payment. Two quotes at the same monthly figure can differ substantially once the initial payment, mileage terms and end-of-contract conditions are counted.
Will anyone run a credit check?
We do not. Enquiring with Fast Track Leasing involves no credit search and leaves no mark on your file, so you can find out what is realistic without any risk to your score.
The supplying partner may run its own check before agreeing a hire, and that is outside our control. It is a normal part of taking on a vehicle, and it happens after you have decided you want to proceed, not when you enquire with us. Some of our partners specialise in customers whose credit history would be declined elsewhere, which is why an enquiry is worth making even if you have been turned down before.
Who we are
Fast Track Leasing is a UK vehicle hire introducer working across mainland Great Britain. We handle three broad kinds of requirement: commercial vans and small fleets for businesses, prestige and performance cars, and everyday personal hire.
Our full legal and company details are set out on our initial disclosure page, alongside the formal version of how we are paid. Our introducer agreement sets out the terms of the introduction itself, and you receive a copy of it when you apply.
FAQs
Is Fast Track Leasing a leasing company?
No. We are an independent introducer. We do not own vehicles, fund them or lend, and we do not sign the rental agreement. We match you to a supplier from our panel, and that supplier confirms the vehicle, the final price and the terms, then contracts with you directly.
Who will actually be supplying my vehicle?
One of the approved rental or leasing partners on our panel, chosen to fit your vehicle, budget, term and location. We tell you which partner we are introducing you to before anything is agreed, and you can ask us at any point.
What is your commission, and does it increase what I pay?
When an introduction leads to a hire, the supplying partner may pay us a commission. It never changes what you pay, and we never charge you a fee for the introduction. If you want to know how we are paid on your introduction, ask and we will tell you.
Does it cost me anything to enquire?
No. Enquiring is free, carries no obligation, and involves no credit check by us, so it leaves no mark on your credit file. You are free to take a quote elsewhere at any stage.
Is it cheaper to go direct to the leasing company?
Sometimes, and we would rather you checked. If you are an established business wanting a conventional multi-year lease on one specified vehicle, a direct quote may well beat us on price. We are more use when the requirement is shorter-term, multi-vehicle, urgent, or does not fit standard criteria.
Can you guarantee I will be approved?
No, and nobody honestly can. Approval is the supplying partner’s decision and depends on their own checks and criteria. What we can do is match you to a partner whose criteria suit your circumstances, which is why an enquiry is still worth making if you have been declined elsewhere.
Do you provide finance or consumer credit?
No. We introduce customers to vehicle hire and rental suppliers. We are not a lender, we do not provide finance, and we do not arrange consumer credit. The rental agreement is made directly between you and the supplying partner.
